Properties:

Colorless or white hexagonal or orthorhombic crystal or granular powder. Relative density is 2.662, inversion point is 588 ℃, melting point is 1069 ℃, boiling point is 1689 ℃. Soluble in water (12G/100ML water at 25 ℃, 24.1G/100ML water at 100 ℃), insoluble in alcohol, acetone and carbon disulfide.

Uses:
Potassium carbonate functions as raw material for producing electronic valve, television pictrue tube and glass shell of computer monitors.
